Visa to Eritrea
In order to obtain a visa to Eritrea applicants should provide to our Agency the following:
Tourist visa
- Valid, signed U.S. passport. Must be valid for at least 6 months after departing and contain at least one blank visa page.
- 1 passport-type photograph.
- 1 filled out visa application form
- Copy of round trip airline ticket or itinerary.
Business visa
- Valid, signed U.S. passport. Must be valid for at least 6 months after departing and contain at least one blank visa page.
- 1 passport-type photograph.
- 1 filled out visa application form
- A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Embassy of Eritrea, Visa Section, Washington, D.C.
The letter must explain:
- Nature of business to be performed;
- Name and address of reference to be visited;
- Guarantee of return transportation and sufficient funds for the visit.
- The letter should be signed by an officer of the company other than the applicant.
- Copy of round trip airline ticket or itinerary.
Fees and proccessing time: US$ 65. Processing time - 3-5 days.
Payment: Money order, company check or personal check made out to Consular Assistance, Inc.
Additional information:
- The visa issued is valid for multple entries for three months from the date of issue for a stay in Eritrea of up to 30 days.
